I woke up with a clear head this morning and got straight out in the garden to attack the Angle Box. I removed the flywheel and took it over to my mates workshop where we removed the sheared bolt and re-tapped all the threads.

Once back, I re-fitted the flywheel and clutch, then got the engine in. I spent the rest of the afternoon putting everything together and then it was time for the pre flight checks. Water, spark, oil pressure??? Oh yes.

She fired more or less straight into life, and purrs like a kitten. I am a very very very happy laddie. I worked out exactly how much I have spent in total... £1200

I decided to start it up on my mates carb as I knew it was good to flow & I didn't want any probs with the running in the first 10 mins (cam has to bed in). So now I can fiddle with my Strombergs, pick up my air filters from the post office on Monday, and make my exhaust pipe :D

All built in my back garden by me :D:D:D:D
