Capri about 8 to 16mpg not sure on the escort in the region of 18mpg

Around 20, but it was running way too rich. I've done some tuning and it's not too far out now and I'm halfway down a tank so I'll know in a few days, but I'm thinking it's going to be around 25 now.

The Escy does well over 30 on a run. The Zephyr , I don't even want to think about it . Anyway , it's smiles per gallon that count

Single figures around town, 14mpg on a run if I'm lucky. I worked out the cost to go to Le Mans next year but it will be cheaper to hire a private jet

i'll be happy gettin double figures on the mpg, but the noise may cause a heavy foot leading to gpm

Our escort does about 8 gallons to the mile, Unless you turn the nitrous and the methanol on in which case it rises to about 10 gallons to the mile.

 

But it's smiles per gallon that count.

bout 20ish, but being a 1.1 it needs a poke with a sharp stick (or a heavy right foot) just to keep with traffic.

driving her carefully on a long run we can stretch her to 22mpg (god i love these new mappable style ecu's )

if i get mad with the right foot she drops to 12mpg

even less if i use the nitrous

The capri's not fuelling that great at the moment so I reckon about 20, thought these bloody v6 cossie's were built for economy
