Admin Vista Posted September 25, 2006 Admin Report Posted September 25, 2006 I figure I've found a solution to the problem of my neighbours cats dumping in my flower beds. I reckon if I can suspend one of these overhead with an appropriate lure, they'll be lobbed straight back over the fence P.S. Cat lovers better not watch
Anglia68 Posted September 25, 2006 Report Posted September 25, 2006 PMSL. It played for me. I would have loved to have seen him fly off.
Slik 50 Posted September 25, 2006 Report Posted September 25, 2006 Im toying with getting one of these fitted to me car http://video.google.co.uk/videoplay?doc ... &q=evil+ka Its old I know but its still funny
atomic punk Posted September 25, 2006 Report Posted September 25, 2006 Our cat is far too lazy ti go anywhere so relieves itself in our garden - which is cool by me
Fiesta Steve Posted September 25, 2006 Report Posted September 25, 2006 I would have loved to have seen him fly off. He does m8, watch it again
antz Posted September 25, 2006 Report Posted September 25, 2006 the trick is to ay rose stems in crosses on your flower beds because a cat wont shit on something that prickly!
mk1super Posted September 25, 2006 Report Posted September 25, 2006 Some say dead Starfish rotting works smell apparently really gets to cats doesnt bother us tho. Owning a Staffy ive found is far better, not that i'd ever encourage him to chase cats
MadMark2 Posted September 25, 2006 Report Posted September 25, 2006 I have a cat problem too, i was just gonna buy a air rifle tho.....
Admin Vista Posted September 25, 2006 Author Admin Report Posted September 25, 2006 I LIKE CATS!!!!!! You were advised not to watch. I've nothing against them myself, they're just not welcome defecating in my garden, even less welcome (if that's possible) are the ones I catch chasing my rabbit & guinea pig (who funnily enough are welcome in my garden) they get a size 11 inserted where the sun don't shine and rarely come back after that.
Anglia68 Posted September 25, 2006 Report Posted September 25, 2006 I would have loved to have seen him fly off. He does m8, watch it again Oh yeah!!!

Admin Vista Posted September 29, 2021 Author Admin Report Posted September 29, 2021 Those who've been on here a long time may remember my historic dislike of other people's cats defecating in my garden? The most commonly given advice then was to get one of our own. Not advice I wanted to take but we did eventually bring home Milo. Cute as a button and so affectionate and friendly. Animals don't usually get through my skin, but he did. Yesterday my wife had to pick him up off the road and bury him in the garden (I am overseas again). Pretty broken by it TBH. And surprised by that too.
Ray Posted September 29, 2021 Report Posted September 29, 2021 sorry for your loss Scott, we lost one of ours the same way a year ago, know how that feels 1
Admin Vista Posted September 29, 2021 Author Admin Report Posted September 29, 2021 Thank you. I feel like I've lost a member of the family. Will miss him sat on my lap every evening. Kids already wanting another one but the road near us is so busy and so few people stick to the speed limit on it that it would probably just be a matter of time before it happened again.
BROWNY 1968 Posted September 29, 2021 Report Posted September 29, 2021 they are family mate, its hard when you lose them, living on a busy road is always gonna be a risk. 1
Moderator Rally Pack 2000 Posted September 29, 2021 Moderator Report Posted September 29, 2021 Sorry to hear about your loss. Always devastating to loose pets. Couldn't be without my dog. 1
Moderator Rally Pack 2000 Posted September 30, 2021 Moderator Report Posted September 30, 2021 What do you do in Australia if a feral cat wants to do his business in your garden? Let him!!!!!!! ........................... 1 1
The Transplanter Posted September 30, 2021 Report Posted September 30, 2021 (edited) They do get you, and being away makes it more difficult for those at home to have to deal with it. My daughter moved back home with her cat and when she moved out again she left him behind🙄 I call him the "Ginger Cu n t" coz the little bastard leaves muddy footprints over all of my cars and uses them as a slide in the wet 😒 But will probably miss him when his time comes!
