Doesn't look like a huge recommissioning job to get the car usable - as one of two, got to be worth it!

The Allardettes I have seen were mainly engine mods rather than full coupe conversions. These ones instead were Australian built cars commissioned by the factory by a local coach builder for racing. They also did some Mk1 Cortinas (Pictured Earlier) but neither was ever put into production. It does seem to be the inspiration or inspired by a few British racing teams of the period that some referred to as the Bread Van Racing Anglias. 1
