so what is the cult of old skool ford, i seems that to most of you, the answer is either unknown, or dont want to know

the cult of old skool ford, is basically where your paying for your membership, for just a measly sum of £12 a year, it helps pay for the running of the forum, as well as events and the public liability insurance required for those events, and you do get va few enhanced features for it as well

whilst this is something that Scott (aka Vista) does on a voluntary basis, if theres not enough subscriptions come in, then theres not enough to pay for everything, that includes this forum and its hosting to be on the net

theres only so long something can go on without funding, before it has to close, and at only 47 paid members, i doubt that even covers the liability insurance, let alone all the other costs to running this site, so clearly Scott is putting his hands in his own pockets to give you all something

its easy to tell from the logins how many unpaid daily users this site has, and imho, thats an abysmall take up, and abuse of Scotts goodwill

so come on peoples, lets see you put your hands in those pockets, £12 a year is nothing compared to what you spend on your cars

and the help and info you get here is priceless

I have to agree, speaking personally I don’t use social media so this forum is my main source of information and £12 (around 2 1/2 pints of pop) is a small price to pay especially when you have described the workings of it in such good detail 👍

Happy days. The site should be like RTOC. Renault 5 Turbine forums. You can’t post on any except one forum without membership.

Before I retired I was often called a big cult, I think that's what I was called, so I naturally gravitated to here.
