Rot boxes but I had one when I lived in Moss Side. Sold it to a Rasta who ran the local Shebeen. He ragged the arse off it. Cracking car and great rally lineage. Johnny Boy Posted March 3 Report Share Posted March 3 I had a 1972 2.3 Firenza SL sport back in the early 80's , when all my mates had hotted up Escorts. The 200 plus Bhp of the tuned 2.3 on 48 delorto's wiped the floor with the Escorts. The torque kept breaking the Vauxhall gearboxes, so I changed to a Ford Cortina Mk 3 gearbox, and that took the abuse. I wish I still had it.
